7. Work, duties and powers of the chairman: (1) In addition to the work, duties and powers written elsewhere in this order, the work, duties and powers of the chairman shall be as follows: (a) Coordinating work related to the commission (b) to inform the Prime Minister from time to time about the overall economic status of the Far West Region, the status of the planned, program and project implementation,
(c) To approve the date, place and subject of discussion of the regular meeting of the Commission,
(d) Assigning the responsibilities of the members regarding the work to be done by the commission (e) Call the heads of various thematic offices of the Far West region, regional administrators, regional directors and the heads of governmental and non-governmental organizations conducting programs in the Far West region from time to time and organize meetings to coordinate the development and construction of the Far West region,
(f) The Chairman will give instructions to the relevant agencies regarding development and construction (g) To cause other work to be done as specified.

(2) The regular business operations of the commission will be conducted according to the instructions of the chairman.
(3) According to clause (f) of sub-section (1), it shall be the duty of all concerned bodies to comply with the instructions given by the chairman. The concerned ministry should be informed about the instructions given by the chairman.
